After doing the previous gig poster shown below, I realised I wasn't really interested in it, and found it kind of boring. Since I have recently been quite interested in Art Nouveau, and the work of Mucha, I decided to make my poster more in line with this art movement. To start I looked at image such as the ones below and tried to draw a woman sort of in the same style.

With this drawing i tried to emulate the works above, by drawing the hair in a similar style, and a pose that you might possibly see in one of Mucha's pieces. However, I added a jacket to the drawing, as the band name I received was Anxiety Jacket, and the idea was the jacket would protect the wearer from anxiety.

For this drawing I was trying to get a stronger feeling of Art Nouveau, by having the woman tall and elegant, in a flowing dress, and long curling hair. The idea for this one is the same as the one above, however instead of drawing in this protective jacket, I was going to use my photoshop skills to edit in a jacket.
