After doing some thumbnails I took my favourite ones so I could play more with colour, positioning, and text. I knew for a fact that red was going to be an integral part due to the protest topic, and after looking at some examples of Illustrations on the topic of periods, I decided on pink as a main colour too. I would also like to incorporate blue into these pieces as a reference to the men and boys out their who also have periods, and shouldn't feel ashamed of it.

For the illustrations, I wanted the focus to be on how periods and natural and nobody can control it, so nobody has the right to shame you for it. To get this across I want to show plants growing from the blood to show how it links to nature, and it's just as unstoppable as mothernature.
