3 PICTURE BOOK FOR EARLY READERS
Some of the most exciting, vibrant, playful and heart-wrenching illustration can be found in illustrated children's books. For many of us, our love affair with illustration can be tracked back to prized books (Asterix, a pop up book about Robin Hood and a Victor Ambrus' Dracula books for Dwayne).

Don't be fooled into thinking that illustrating a children's book is an easy task though. As well as entertaining children, illustrated books can also be invaluable in introducing them to and helping them manage difficult life situations - see 'My Dad's in Prison' and 'A Shelter for my Sadness'.

You are asked to provide 3 illustrated pages by way of 'proof of concept' for your book.

You will need to consider and demonstrate the integration of image and type.
